Hi! I am Ashley, and I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 17 years and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist for 15 years. I have had the privilege of helping people in small and large communities, and I have to say, I love my job. I grew up in small town of Glenrock, Wyoming and I missed connecting with the rural communities from my childhood. I am here to offer support for people with diabetes that just feel burned out, misunderstood from a rural medical perspective, and to offer my guidance for the unique challenges that many rural Americans face when trying to improve their diabetes and general health. My favorite thing to help folks with is to work with diabetes tech to help reduce the daily or minute burden that people feel when trying to improve glucose control.
